Hotel Setup
After getting off the plane you will bus to the hotel that you'll be staying the night at. When arriving at the hotel the first order of business is to find the conference room that the team meal is in. You will be expected to bring the doctors kit, AED, and hotel bag to the team dinner. The entire athletic training staff will stand near the exit of the conference room and hand out any medication that the players might need for the night. Once the team dinner is over you are free to go to your room and get some sleep before the big game!

Visiting Athletic Training Room Setup
On game day the athletic trainers will normally arrive at the stadium about 3 hours before the team. It is very important that the athletic training staff begins setting up as soon as possible. The visiting athletic training room is often very small so creating space is key. The diagram below shows an example of a visiting athletic training room. Most of the time there will be 3-4 tables designated for taping. Since there are normally 6 athletic trainers who tape the treatment table can be used to tape on. This setup can take about an hour to complete.
Items that will be in the Visiting Athletic Training Room
Mike's Trunk - Needs to be setup next to the first taping station for the head athletic trainer.
Locker Room Trunk - Can be setup anywhere inside the athletic training room. But must be easily accessible and not blocked by bags, tables, trash cans, etc. All taping supplies located inside this trunk will be placed by each taping station
Padding Trunk - Will be setup near the treatment table and opened.
Physician's Trunk - Will sit on top of the padding trunk and will also be opened.
Hydrocollator with Pads - Setup in the main athletic training room where there is space
(4) Rolly Carts - Will be setup outside the visiting athletic training room door filled with Gatorade and water on ice
(2) Small Chests - Placed in the locker room with Gatorade Primes and Endurance on ice
(2) OMT Tables - Normally put in the visiting athletic training room (if there is enough room) or in the shower area

After the Game
When the game concludes the athletic training staff and students will clean up the sideline and the visiting athletic training room as quickly as possible. Normally there is about a one hour period between the end of the game and the buses departing for the airport. All trunks and extra items will be taken to the truck and loaded for the trip home.
